當考官發出超車指令時，我們要做的第一件事先打左轉像燈，同時通過后視鏡觀察后方車輛，此時要注意目光不要離開行駛方向時間過長，應隨時注意前方交通情況的變化。
準備超車時，打左轉向燈，同時觀察后方情況。如當前交通條件不適合超車，放棄超車再找機會。
時機成熟后，鳴笛提示前車，此時如有禁止鳴笛標志應改用交替變換遠近燈光的方式。
如當前路段禁止鳴笛，應改用交替變換遠近燈光來提示前車。
3、降檔提速
注意后方交通情況確認超車線路安全，減一檔后深踩加速踏板，從前車的左側玩車超越，超越時應與被超車輛保持安全距離。
在確認安全后，通過降檔提速的方式，縮短超車的時間。
超越車輛后應保持車速繼續前行一段，通過右后視鏡觀察后方。確認安全后，打右轉向燈，行駛回到原來的車道。
